Slash joined Aerosmith for Whisky A Go Go performance

Aerosmith performed a concert on Tuesday, April 8 at the famous Whisky A Go Go, a West Hollywood club they last played in 1973. The half-hour, invite-only show was part of a press event announcing the band's upcoming "Let Rock Rule" North America tour with  Slash, who made a special guest appearance during the set. Included in the concert were a couple of 1970s gems, "Draw The Line" and "Same Old Song And Dance", followed by the 1997 hit "Pink" and the 1975 classic "Walk This Way" before Slash joined Aerosmith on stage for "Mama Kin" and an abbreviated, instrumental version of Guns n' Roses "Welcome To The Jungle". Slash also stuck around for a performance of the 1950s blues classic "Train Kept A-Rollin'".

Promoted exclusively by Live Nation, the "Let Rock Rule" tour kicks off on Thursday, July 10 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, New York (see full itinerary below).

Aerosmith and Slash, will also take over Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, among other cities, before wrapping Friday, September 12 in Sydney, NS, Canada.

This summer's hottest ticket will go on sale to the general public starting on Saturday, April 12 through the Live Nation mobile app and at The first round of tour dates are below with additional dates for a second leg to be announced shortly.

Aerosmith's North American summer dates will follow the band's overseas dates, kicking off May 14 in Istanbul, Turkey and will hit 16 countries including stops in Russia, France, and the U.K. before wrapping July 2 in Kiev, Ukraine.
